// Embrazio Belt //
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Embrazio creators Stephanie Boyles and Scott Schaefer. They graciously invited me to view their products (*amazing*) and during the time we spent together, they shared the history of their company. I am always inspired by those who have passion for what they do. I left my meeting with Stephanie and Scott more than inspired. Their attention to detail is second to none and the level of care they exercise when choosing materials and methods used to create their products is exceptional.
Prior to our meeting, I researched (online stalked) Embrazio.com to pick out my favorite products. While the belts looked amazing, admittedly a belt was not in my top three favorites after shopping the site (these were though: one, two and three). As soon as I tried one on, however, I knew I had to have one. Hands down the best belt I’ve ever worn. I am not a belt person, but after speaking with Stephanie and Scott, I know why. All belts (except Embrazio’s) are cut in a straight line. This fatal flaw creates my chief complaints with belts: discomfort, annoying gaping in random places, and improper fit (ever had the back of the belt lay above your jeans/pants?).
Embrazio’s belts are cut with very specific curves. Each point along the belt is measured to the contours of the body, thus creating the perfect fit. And the perfect fit it creates. I’ve had several friends try this belt on and SAME result, regardless of body type.
Typically, when clothing is functional, fashion is disregarded. Thankfully, that is NOT the case with the Embrazio belts. The leather is the high quality and soft, yet sturdy. Each belt is HANDMADE, solid leather and finished with a hand rub of bees wax. Comfortable luxury in a belt. While my favorite is the classic option shown above, Embrazio carries several more intricate options as well (see here and here.)
So, if you’ve been searching for the perfect belt, this is it. Or if you’ve loathed wearing belts, those days are now over.
